When I posted this afternoon I mentioned that I was having trouble getting some words down. Well, I decided to write for an anthology submission I’d seen and I wrote 1500 words in a couple of hours. I had no idea where I was going with the start of this story. I’m pretty sure I know the ending of it now, but who knows where it’ll go before I end it.

Although I’m trying to post daily, that’s not always possible. So What I’m going to try and do is put in my word counts at the end of each week. So here is what I’ve written over the last week: Sunday 21st- 2012 on Extraction, Monday 22nd- 646 on Extraction, Tuesday 23rd-0, Wednesday 24th -1206 on Extraction, Thursday 25th- 298 on Extraction and 690 on the vampire book for a total of 988 words, Friday 26th- 559 on the vampire book, Saturday 27th- 289 on the vampire book, and today- 181 on the vampire book and 1523 on the new story, lets call it ‘Walk’. That gives me a total of 1704 for the day. That’s 7404 words written for the week. Yeah, I’m happy with that!

That’s me done for the night. I’ve got a launch party for 84 Stories 84 Words (it’s already available on Amazon, folks) tomorrow evening so I’ll be looking to get my words knocked out before work and during my lunch break.
