I know this isn’t the best picture taken, but it was with my iPad and through a double glazed window but I just had to get a snap of this gorgeous animal. It was barely twenty feet from our house and looked rather chilled out.

I’m pretty sure it’s a Buzzard, but I’m not a hundred per cent on that, my bird watching days are long past. This is one of the reason I love living in the country. My Dad says there’s about half a dozen Buzzards in the area and it’s great to see one this relaxed. Needless to say that besides our chickens there wasn’t another bird in the garden to be seen!
