How are we doing this evening? I have just put on The Fly, having not seen this since my teens and I thought I’d put a quick post out.
A very low impact day today, writing wise. I’ve written few hundred words but haven’t counted them up yet. I was planning to do some more work this afternoon, but I had to crash out. I try not to nap in the afternoons now as to strengthen my chances of sleeping well at night. This is part of my long standing issues I have with sleep. But today, I hit that wall hard. I can’t remember the last time I napped like that but my body must have needed it. The problem is I feel more tired because of it. So I doubt its a win-win.
Tomorrow I’ve got an all-day shift at work, which is the norm for a Sunday. So outside of break time I won’t have a lot of time to write. But, I’ve already passed ten hours for the month for writing, and we’re only a third of the way through and I’ve hit the half way mark of my twenty hours for the month.
The next week or so I want to get stuck into three parts of the Penal Earth world work. One: Getting this draft of book 2 done! Two: The short story from that universe I’ve been working on from that world. And number three: Get this stage of the bible completed.

This stage of the bible is just listing down key details; things like someones eye colour or if they have any scars. What the crimes they committed to get sent to earth were. Personality traits, and things like that. I know I’m going to make continuity errors, but this should help me keep them to a minimum.
I’ve not felt this good for a long time in regards to writing. I’ve got ideas flowing, both for new projects and ongoing ones. From world building to bits of dialogue. It’s quite exciting. I just need to get the discipline, consistency, and focus to make the most of the tools I have.
Right, I’m gonna get ready for bed and watch this movie.
I hope you’re all having a fantastic weekend. I really appreciate everyone who takes the time to read my blog, follow my social media, and who have bought and reviewed my work. I can’t express how much it means to me knowing people spend not only their money but more importantly their time, in reading the words I wrangle. Thank you.
