Howdy folks. I worked through 23 pages of the Penal Earth 2 red-penning. Mostly much of the same, little tweaks here and there, the odd continuity correction and of course, spelling! I am still of a mind the ending needs work. Although this is part two of a trilogy for a particular storyline I still want to leave the story in a place where the reader wants the next book, but isn’t frustrated by an ending that doesn’t give at least some level of satisfaction.

I also beta read two chapters of another authors novel.

If I put myself in a good place tomorrow I might be able to get this stage of my process done with PE2 tomorrow. I’ve got about thirty pages to go, so we’ll see how I sleep.

I have just watched the latest Fear Street movie, Prom Queen. It was okay, good fun but didn’t blow me away. Although I didn’t see who the villain was.
