So me and my co-writer have not managed to have another sit down and crack on with the brainstorming on how we wish to improve this novel that we are gearing up for a re-write, but that doesnt mean that I havent been thinking about it.  Some of the ideas that I am having are beginning to really get the creative juices flowing.  I’ve actually done a little reasearch which was just a little bit.  To be honest it was nothing more than reading one newspaper article and a page from a website.  The topic these two little bits were on do not play into the plot line of the novel but it will be important to the world building.  So I really need to get into doing research which is something that I have always struggled with.

I’d like to think that we’ll be ready to start the actual process of writing by the end of the year.  We have a long way to go, we still havent discussed how we want the novel to feel yet.  The way this is consuming me I think that I may have to start writing it before then but I’m holding off because I know research is the key to making the story feel real.  Time for some more research I think 🙂
