At the moment I am stuck between finishing a draft of one project and I don’t really have anything else to get working on, as in the actual act of writing. I have a lot of editing to do and planning, especially for Project Apollo, so I have things I need to be getting on with but I want to write. Yet I feel like I can’t really start another project with so many other unfinished ones around me (Yes I know I should finish some of these) I will get on with these in the next few days but I’m still going to make sure that I write each day as I’m doing these. The trigger for this was Kristen Lamb’s recent blog post about getting out of a comfort zone and becoming a better writer, check it out here http://warriorwriters.wordpress.com/2012/06/11/5-ways-to-get-out-of-the-comfort-zone-and-become-a-stronger-writer/ One of the things this post told me was that I need to be writing everyday, even if it was just a 100 words, it’s still a 100 words. So for the last couple of days I’ve been doing just that. I’ve been writing small segments that could end up in Project Apollo, but I doubt that they will seeing as we havent really began to plan it yet. That aside I’m going to use this as a way to build up some of the characters and get a better feel for the universe.
