Do you ever feel like you have no get-up-and-go? That’s what I’ve had for about the last month or so. I’ve got lots that I want to do but I just don’t have any motivation to get going. I’m sitting chilling out at home before going down to see Tracie and I could use this time to do a little writing or research but I’m just fighting the urge to have a nap right now. Of a week night I just want to stick a DVD on and chill out. Maybe I’m getting a little burnt out again like I did earlier in the year and I need to ease off my load for a week or two.
Take some time out honey if you think it’s what you need. I find that if I try to push myself I just end up in a worse state π¦

That’s what I’m beginning to think. I hit exhaustion earlier in the year and something had to be eased off, and unfortunately I can’t ease off the day job lol x

Ah, yeah, the day job….the bane of most writers lives π¦
I have a friend who, after publishing her 2nd novel was able to give up work. To be honest, I don’t know how on earth she did it before….housewife, mum, plus working full time doing shift work! I’m not sure I would have been able to write 2 novels under those conditions! π¦
Good luck honey, but don’t beat yourself up, just take it slow and chill when you have to π

Quitting work to write full time, mmm I like that idea π lol I work quite long hours and its a physical job so it does drain me at times but if I’m honest I love my day π that is quite impressive what you friend achieved.

They are, Scott Sigler is a huge Insperation for me. He went from being giving his books away as podcasts to a New York Times best selling author in about 5 years x
