A Good Nights Work

Yesterday I said in my post that I was behind with NaNoWriMo and that I needed to write about 2200 words a day to complete NaNo, but I’d be aiming to be doing about 2500 a day so I can catch up and get ahead again. Tonight I did 3055 words in about two and half hours, yes I almost did a dance. That is my best days writing this year (so far). Part of this I think is thanks to getting away for the weekend, I did do a little writing Friday but nothing of note. I am feeling refreshed and I’ve got a few ideas on where to take the story, seeing as my outline went out of the window about 23,000 words ago. Tracie gave me a little pep talk before I started tonight which was also a massive boost.

Now all I have to do is get a couple more nights like this one and I’ll be well on target again 🙂
