Howdy folks! How are we all doing this morning?

I am at my desk in what feels like the first time in forever! Work rota’s and family time haven’t really be conducive to settling in for a few hours of word wrangling, so I’m quite excited to be gearing up for a sold few hours here.

Overall March was a good month when it came to writing, but as I’ve said previously I’m not going to try and match that 30+ hours I achieved last month. Target is set at 20 hours until I get to the point where I’m consistently smashing it. For context this is this years hour counts by month so far- January: 1 day, 10 hours and 59 minutes. February: 22h. March: 1 day, 6 hours and 10 minutes.

I’ll start raising my 20 hours writing a month target once I’m consistently passing it. Something outside of the act of writing/editing for April is promoting my work more. I don’t have a budget so it’ll be links on social media, but I don’t just want to do that. I enjoy posting the random stuff I do as well, so I’d like to get a little more consistent with that. At the moment its as and when I remember.

Back to today, I’m aiming for a morning of work. Then some beta reading and then maybe some time in the garden.
