On Sunday I actually did some writing, it was only about 700 words but it was the first time that I’ve written properly this year and it felt good, but I won’t be able to do much more in that project until I speak to Owen (my writing partner) so I’ve looked at my NaNo project and have just started to read through that and find where I need to improve it and so on. I have already got a few ideas on some of it’s that I want to add and I think that I know where I want it to end now. In my initial draft I think I went about 2000 words past a natural ending point. I also need to do some location research as well as normal research for this one.
I have another story which is a project with Owen that I’m thinking about as well. It’s another idea that we’ve had for a few years but I got some words written and made a short story of it last year. I’m now looking to see if we can expand it into something bigger, there is a lot of room to grow this one as its got quite a rich universe to play in.

So all in all I don’t think that I’ll hit my first 20,000 word target towards my 100,000 word goal for the year but I’m doing work which will make writing easier later in the year, hopefully 😀
