Right now I’m laying in bed and for the life of me I just do not feel like I’m ever going to drop off to sleep. Its times like these that I’m laying here thinking I should just dive into a book or do some writing but I’ve tried that before and it dosent work. I’m too sleepy to take in any fiction or to create any, but my body won’t shut down for my needed recharge. So instead I’m laying here wondering why ceilings are painted white. I think Tom Clancy mentioned that in one of his books.
Anyway, I thought I’d just throw up a quick post to update everyone. Not much to say though I’m afraid. The day job is sapping my energy levels, I’m in need of some R&R I think, so when I get home of a night I’m shattered. I’ve been taking my laptop to work again do during lunch I’ve been trying to write.
I’ve had some great feedback on a short story from my two main beta readers which had given me a really good boost and despite the fatigue from work I’m determined to knock out some words this week. I’ve also got to finish my draft of the joint project with Owen. So that I’m going to have another crack at early next month.
