I’m having a bit of a chill out today as I was at Wireless Festival yesterday and I am more than a little shattered, although it was well worth it 🙂 So I doubt there will be much writing done today but I thought I’d just pop up a little update.

I’ve just started reading Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury which I’m rather looking forward to getting stuck into.  I really need to be getting some of the classic Science Fiction read, although saying that I’m sure the late Mr.Bradbury never considered himself a genre writer, but I do need to start reading more of the classics.  I’ve got a couple of Phillip K. Dick’s novels which I’m looking forward to reading as well as a Arthur C.Clarke novel so plenty to read.

This week I am determined to get cracking with some fiction again.  As I said in a previous post I am in between projects at the moment but I think I may do what I did with NaNoWriMo and just start writing something.  I did a have good idea how to tweak a character which I hope will give him more depth.

Something that I need to do is re-watch theLord Of The Ringsmovies as Owen does reference them a fair bit in what he writes and it’s been a while since I saw those movies.
