I’ve had a really chilled out weekend with Tracie and a few friends, although I got thrashed at bowling last night. This is what I think of as my wind down time. I’ve done a little writing (500 words which came out the hard way). Those 500 words had a significance though, in the story they are minor words, maybe they could be considered padding but in the greater scale of my year those words rolled over the 40 thousand word mark for the year which reminded me of how badly I have done this year. I set out a target of about 5000 words a week at the start of the year and I’m not even close to that, but that’s a post for another day.

Now I’m going to watch Hellboy 2 and flake out for the rest of the evening 🙂
