Howdy folks, how are we all today? I’ve overlaid and am already behind for the day, but after a few nights of very crappy sleep I needed to get some of it caught up on.

As I said in a recent blog post I feel like I’ve lost the momentum I started the year with. It’s annoying, but also feels like I’ve got that mindset back already. Previously once I’d loose momentum it’ll bee quite some time before I was able to get back into the rhythm again. So, after all the work I’ve done on my mental health, the medication, maybe its not hitting me as hard as it once did.

Anyway, onto this week, because it is the start of a new week. I want to get the Penal Earth short story I’ve been working on wrapped up, as well as this stage of the bible for that world completed. With this the most irritating part I’ve found from the process is all the bloody mistakes that are in published novel! But I don’t think they’re too bad, it’s just annoying.

I’m also going to be progressing with this draft of Penal Earth 2. I’m getting to the point where a lot of rewriting needs to be done, and some characters need their arcs wrapped up for this book (not necessary overall though). That is my primary task today, Penal Earth 2. I want this draft done, so I can have a break from it for a month or so before looking at it again.
