Good evening, folks! How has everyones day been?

I have edited 7019 words on Penal Earth 2, adding 417 words in the process. This took about two and a half hours. I had some good momentum I think, and I wrapped up for the morning about 11:30am. After that I did more beta reading for a friend, and then a couple of non-writing bits and pieces. After that I gamed for a bit and then napped. A lack of sleep is something that I’ve been struggling with, and trying not to sleep during the day seems to make it harder to sleep during the night.

This evening I’ve done another hours worth of work. This time editing 2351 words on Black Blood, adding 246 words. I’m up to chapter four now, and so far it’s felt like smooth sailing. Black Blood is one of the stories I’ve be working on for a long time, so it should be quite clean. I do have a bad habit of over editing, but I have slowly been moving past this bad habit. With Black Blood, and this draft of Penal Earth 2, I haven’t been thinking about massive rewrites. Most of my focus is on tidying them up. There are bits I need to add to both but there’s no real large changes I need to do, with the exception of a couple of elements in Penal Earth 2, but I’m quite a ways off that just yet.

Okay, folks. Time to wrap up for the day. I’ve an early start in the morning so I’m gonna watch the washing up and then watch the latest Hellboy movie.
