Howdy folks! how are we all doing tonight?

4225 words edited, with 194 being added as I work on Black Blood. I’ve got about 23k words to go. Slow progress but progress all the same. I’ve been having doubts about whether I want to put this book up on my Ko-Fi. In part I fear no one will read it, but what does it matter if they don’t? The story needed an edit, and the time it’ll cost posting it won’t be much. So why not post it? Fake it ’til I make it, right?

This weekend is Horrified Con where I’ll be selling my books alongside my friend Leah Solmaz. She’ll be selling some some really cool bits and pieces she’s been making.

Leah is incredibly talented, from acting, to writing, to crafting, to marketing, and much more. She adapted a short story of mine into an animated short a few years ago, which is beyond cool!

I’m both nervous and excited for the con. It’s been a long time since I went to a convention, and I’ve never sold at one. But I’m looking forward to it. I know the nerves will disappear once those first few people come to our table.
