Howdy folks, how are we all today?

If you saw my post last night about having to say goodbye to our senior kitty Dizzy, then you know it’s not been a great week. Add in the first part of the week I was trying to sort out a mechanical issue on my car, which is now sorted and I’ve got her back, then I’ve not done a lot of writing. This morning was the first time I’ve written since the 14th, which I think is the longest period of time where I’ve not written this year.

This weekend I’ve got my daughter so I won’t be writing, but I have got some words typed up for the Penal Earth short story I’ve been working on. 500 words in half an hour this morning, and it does feel good. It has been a hard week, that has topped off quite a demanding two months. But we endure and we crack on. Next week I’m going to get my arse into gear and get this story typed up, and start on the tweaks for Penal Earth 2.
