Good evening folks. I’ve not long got in from work, I have a pizza in the oven and I doubt I’ll be nodding off any time soon. So I’m gonna have the pizza, and then a little gaming before popping on a movie to see if that’ll wind me down somewhat.

Writing wise, today’s been a good day. I finished this pass of Penal Earth 2, my final pass before I pass it onto beta readers. That was 7583 words edited, with 263 added in about 1 hour and 40 minutes. I was so chuffed. This feels like it’s been a long time coming and I’m glad to be done with it. I am somewhat frustrated I won’t be able to get it published this year as due to finances I won’t have the cash pay for both editing and cover art. It’s not the end of the world but I’d like to get this out into the world. If you’d like to read book one, here’s the link:

Before work I managed to get 688 words written on Lovers. At the moment I feel like I’m adding important scenes that are vital to the story and another step towards having a draft complete. It is a long way off, and I think this one will be something that definitely takes some time because once the story is done, I’ve got to weave it all together. Should be challenging, but hopefully fun.

Right, I’m going to destroy this pizza and then start winding down for the night.
