Howdy folks, how are we all doing this evening?

I’ve written 811 words today on Lovers in about an hour. I still feel somewhat like this story is still finding its path, and also a long way off being finished. I’d like to think by the end of the year I’ll have something akin to a draft and not just a collection of loosely connected scenes.

With Penal Earth I’m going to sit on it until November, then I’m going to go through the notes from my alpha reader and see how I feel about the additions I’ve made to the ending. In the meantime I’m going to get back into War Child. This story is getting vocal in my mind again and that’s normally an indicator that I’m ready to get back into it. I still feel a little like I haven’t got the writing chops to pull this story off, but I’ve spent most my life letting fear stop me from living how I want to. I’m not going to let a little doubt stop me from getting this story done.
