Howdy, folks! How are we all doing? I hope y’all have had a good week.
Today has been okay. I’ve read through 9467 words of War Child and realised it’s quite a mess. I thought I had something close to an early draft but looking at the file, yeah it’s not even close. I’m fairly sure I do have a story completed but I’m not too sure how I ended it. I know I was conflicted on where I wanted to end this first book, so I’m not sure where I did leave it. It’ll be something to look forward to as I’m working my way through it.
I’m not doing a hard edit as such. I’m correcting spelling, grammar, and clunky sentences. Along with any other little fixes that I may find. I think what I want to be aiming for with this work through is to have a completed story with eyes to the next book done. Ideally I’d like to have it so this edit is my last before it goes to my alpha reader. We’ll see though.
I wrapped Wednesday season 2 a couple of days ago. It was good, it built on the first season well. Again, Fester was the highlight for me, he is so awesome. Fred Armisen looks like he’s having fun, and I’ve heard a rumour there might be an Uncle Fester spin off! Although I’m excited about this, I’m awesome a little wary. Sometimes a character is better in small doses but we’ll see. I was more impressed with Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia as well. I’ve never really been a big fan of hers, but this second season she seems to have got a stronger feel of the character. And of course Luis Guzmán nails it as Gomez.

Right, it’s nearly my bed time. I hope you all have a lovely weekend, I’ve got a work heavy one so not much downtime. I’ll try and make the most of the time I have to get some words worked on.
Good night folks!
