Howdy folks, I thought I’d blog now as I’m working late tonight and not sure if I’ll be awake enough afterwards to post.

I have done about forty minutes writing this morning before an appointment. After that I crashed out a bit before having to think about work. I wrote on War Child, and finished the scene I’d been working on. It was part of a chapter I’ve inserted into the story which will hopefully make that part of the story flow better.

As I was driving to work I listened to a bit more of a book about the Knights Templar, and this is giving me a lot of ideas about one element of the Penal Earth universe that I want to write stories about but wasn’t sure how to approach it. Although it’s not a religious military I’m thinking about, or anything close to be honest. In the Penal Earth realm I think you’d compare them a little closer to the Nights Watch in Game Of Thrones, but even then it’s still not the same. It may be more of a case that where the writer is talking about crusades (I never knew there was so many!) it’s got me thinking more about resources that is needed to keep people alive. About big personalities whose name is well known. I’m not quite sure how I’m going to execute it, but I’m getting to the point where I need to write a story about this group.
