One piece of advice that I’ve seen over the years is that if you get stuck with a story then maybe look at the start and ask yourself how your characters got to where they were at the start of the book. This is something that I did with Avoiding The Game, and something that I may do again with it.
In its current state it’s not good and needs a lot of work. I don’t think I’ve been thorough enough with it and ill look at it again and sit down and do a plot outline. I like the characters and the universe but I think I’m going to adjust the theme of the story a little which I think will make it a lot stronger. That’s not going to happen till the end of the year though.
Before that I will be working on three major projects and a couple of smaller ones, including NaNoWriMo.
I’m actively working on two projects at the moment with other writers, I’m enjoying the creative process of bouncing ideas off of each other. Writing is a lonely game generally so it’s great working with others. I have no grand way that I’m juggling the two Projects, I’m just kind of bouncing between the two.
I am going to try and do a post updating what I am reading this week but I’ll have to see how things play out. Obviously I won’t stop writing to write a blog post.
I haven’t mentioned my Twitter and Facebook recently. Both links to follow me on those sites is on the right hand side of the page. I am also on Google+
Have a good day everybody 🙂
