I haven’t mentioned Avoiding The Game for a while and that is because I’ve stepped away from it for a while. I was going to make it my next big project as me and Owen were going through the edits of Project Apollo, that reminds me I need to email Owen. I started writing but I could not get a feel for it. Now with this one I am not quite going for a full re-write but I am going to add a whole new section at the start of the story, at a guess I’d say I’d like to add another 10,000 words to the story. I know what I want to write and I’m pretty happy with the idea but when it came to putting it onto paper nothing came out, well nothing that felt right so I backed off of it. If I’m not feeling something when I writing it I have learnt that I need to step off of it and take a breath. Is this story dead? hell no. I’ve had this story loosely in mind since before NaNoWriMo 2011 and I really want to write it. I’m going to be totally honest and say that I don’t think that it will ever be a story which will have a lot of demand but I want to write it. I’ve learnt so much during the process of this story that I don’t think I can let it be left unfinished.
It’s no longer called Avoiding The Game though. That was the title of it when I had a specific idea in mind but it evolved into a totally different animal. I don’t have a new title for it but I’ve given it the working title of Project Sabre.
