I didn’t get much done tonight, although I have broken down up to forty chapters  now. I’m not using any real method to breaking this story up. I’m just going through the file and finding the breaks and splitting where I think it’s a natural break.

Some ideas about how I want to play out the key points of the story are taking a bit of shape in my head now and I can see how I’m going to fix the major couple of issues I have with the story as it stands. I’ve written this in first person and I was thinking about changing to to third person but that would double the amount of work I’ve got to do, and if I’m honest I like writing in first person. I think it fits the story nicely as well.

Now I’m going to log out and read before bed. Hopefully I’ll have a better nights sleep then I did last night.
