Today, was a solid effort. I wrote 2592 words for a total of 20606 words overall. I also passed 300k on my lifetime NaNo word count. I pushed myself a little further today to hit that 300k. I was hoping to get work down on other projects today but we had a house full this morning which was more distracting than I was expecting.

This is my eighth year doing NaNo. My lowest was 20464 and the most I’ve written was 58558 and I’m feeling incredibly engaged this year. I’m hoping my experience will hold when I get back to work and don’t have as much time to commit to writing, and there is always the chance life will through a curveball. Time will tell on that.

As for the rest of my time off from work. Tonight I’m at a friends birthday party. Then tomorrow I have the day to myself. I’m going to hit the NaNo minimum for the day and then do some work on PE3 if I can. With PE3 I’m pretty sure how I’m going to end it, but had been stuck on how I was getting there. I think I’ve figured it out now though.

On Sunday I have a Write-In in Gravesend that should be a lot of fun and then it’s back to work on Monday.
