I’ve written 602 words on the vampire collection, which is what I was getting stuck with yesterday.

I was worried about a plot point, which was the main motivation for the protagonist and that affected the pacing of the story. As I was laying in bed last night I had an idea that I think will fix the problems I’ve got. I spoke to my beta readers and they agreed with my idea and made a couple of suggestions. Now I’ve started the story again, and I’ve gone from hating it to being really excited by it. I can mine details from the last draft and hopefully I’ll have a stronger story at the end of the day.
