I managed to write just over 1200 words today, but didn’t get as much sorting out done as I was hoping.
I did struggle to get started today. (I was hindered a little by a cat, which I allowed!) I looked at my two most active pieces and couldn’t find a way to get rolling. So with one I skipped ahead to a part where it’s further along in the story and got cracking. It had some action in that helped but it’s also given me a target to aim at. I remember doing this when I first started writing. I’d jump ahead and then connect the dots later on. I’m going to have to do that more often as it’s something that works pretty well for me.
Righty-o. I’m pretty much done for the day. I might do a little NaNo prep work later, but mostly I’m going to be chilling out.

Gorgeous cat! 1200, that’s really good. Today is an editing day for me. I’m going crosseyed!

I hope you’re making progress though 🙂

I saw a good quote yesterday: “Some people give up because they’re discouraged at slow progress, not understanding that slow progress is still progress.”
So I guess slow days are still productive, just not as productive as I’d like.
