Howdy, folks! How are we doing this evening? I am knackered. I slept better last night than I thought I was going to, but the previous nights where I haven’t slept well mount up.

I do think I need to accept that if I’ve got a morning shift, which are the majority of my shifts, then I shouldn’t be expecting to write after work. My brain is just too frazzled to do it properly. Now, I love my early shifts, but I need to get better at getting my head down nice and early.

I did write 266 words during my break on a Penal Earth spin off story. I’m not sure where I’m going with this one now, not overall but more a case of the next scene. I’ve got a couple of ideas but I’m not sure what’ll be the best course yet.
