Howdy folks how are we all doing this morning?

Probably just a quick post this morning as I want to get cracking with the mech story. I did write yesterday during my break at work but that was it. I hadn’t slept to well again, which made about a weeks worth of bad sleep. So I crashed out when I got home, a small nap and then a decent nights sleep has me feeling a little better but still puffy eyed. One of the made things about this is I’m pretty sure if I could knock out some more words I’d feel better in myself and then hopefully sleep better. It’s a theory I am going to try and test at some point.

This morning it’s raining here in my corner of the UK, and there’s a freshness coming through my window. It still feels muggy, but that’s just British summertime to be honest.

I am aiming to have this edit of mech done by the end of the month, and the Penal Earth short story as well. If I can have those two ticked off then next month I can type up the short story and with Mech I can shelve it until I’ve done the final changes of Penal Earth two. The short story is nearing completion, the mech story is a little more complicated as I’m having to fill in a chunk of the middle of the book which I strangely left empty. Like a giant gap between two parts, but on the plus side its given me a place to build a few of the sub-plots of the story while filing in a little backstory on how this world got to this point.

That said, I’m gonna get cracking. I’ve got a little planning for the week to do this morning as well. And I neeeeeeeeeeeed food!
