Today I’ve written 660 words on a lovers in about 40 minutes. This still feels a little (okay a lot) disorganised, and I feel like I’ve not made a lot of solid progress this last week. Much of what I’ve written has been building individual scenes, but today has felt different. I feel like I’ve not only done work on two scenes that will build a connection for two characters, but also the overall story. I also fixed a slight problem I had from an earlier excerpt that despite how the story has changed, is still an intrigue moment of the tale.

I did sleep better last night, but it still wasn’t great. Tonight I’ve tried to get into a better prep time for bed this evening. I’ve fallen into a couple of bad habits but tonight I’ve had some camomile tea, done a little writing, and I’m about to finish watching Moana 2. Then hopefully the land of nod will come easily tonight.
