Howdy folks, how are we all doing this evening? During my break and a little this evening I’ve managed 773 words in about 45 minutes on Lovers. I’m at the point in this story where I have about done with a fair bit of the core of this story except the part where two characters fall in love. Yeah, I’m gonna suck at this part. Give me blood and gore and I’m in my element, but building a bond between two characters, have them going from first meeting, to getting to know each other, to an attraction building and that attraction growing into something neither of them can ignore.

With what I’ve just wrote I’m not feeling as anxious about as I was an hour ago. I’ve also embraced winging it to a degree. There’s a few details I need to put into this part I’ve worked on today but it’s details that aren’t necessary to the story but are there to have the character have an excuse to talk and interact.

It’s gonna be interesting to see how these scenes develop, but also how I’m going to move forward as a writer. I kind wish I could stay up and work on it some more, but I’ve got an early tomorrow and I need sleep.
