Howdy folks! I am a wee but curious as to why I’m feeling as awake as I am, considering I didn’t sleep at all last night this state of alertness is some what confusing!

On the plus side, I did write a couple of hundred words in a short story a little past midnight. It’s a rewrite of a story I wrote quite some time ago but it never felt right. Now I’ve switched it up a bit, including changing the point of view to another character for the first part of the story along with two characters dynamic. I’m quite excited by it if I’m honest.

Today overall will be a low writing day. In addition to the early morning word wrangling I’ll have my break but after work I’ve got a busy afternoon and evening before an early start tomorrow (not as early as this, as it’s not work, but still I’ve got a fair few things to do tomorrow so I’d like to get a decent start).

I am feeling a new wave of motivation though, the typical aftermath of a low level breaking point hit that leaves the sense of optimism.

Right, I’ve got a bit of time before work so I’m gonna wrangle some more words on that short story.
