Good evening folks, how are we all doing today?

So, the last month has definitely been a bit of a crash out when it comes to writing. I do think i hit something of a ‘somethings gotta give’ moment and had to let writing be what was backed away from. Only in the last few days do I feel like I’m close to getting back on track. I think I’m getting close to having an ending I’m happy with on Penal Earth 2, and I’ve worked on some parts of War Child that feel like it’s growing that book well.

I do think the end of this year isn’t going to be with big numbers or significant boosts in my work. I am going to try and work on getting some changes done to my mentality and build my concentration and focus. There’s times where I can’t keep my attention on one thing for more than a minute or two and I need to work on ways to improve on that.

Speaking on self-improvement, I was running an errand today and I’ve realised that I can’t do something which is on my way to something else. Like today, I had to go to a shop and grab a couple of things, and on the way I had to post some letters, which despite there being a post box at the top of my road, I forgot. (This has happened As I was carrying on my short journey it struck me that I can’t just have a side quest as it were to do something, so I decided to go a little out of my way to pop the letters in a post box and I think that’s what I need to do in the future.

I did write today, spent about an hour on Penal Earth 2, I added about 649 words on it. I need to connect a couple of scenes together which I think will give a better ending.
