Hey folks,
I’m close to wrapping up a draft of the bounty hunter story I’ve been working on. I think I’ve found the theme for it now which will help when I come to edit it. I added a lot more detail in the last sitting I had with it. I’ve got a few inconsistencies and plot holes I need to work out, but I don’t think there is anything there that I can’t fix. I won’t know that properly until I’ve gone back through it.
With the other story that is set in the Penal Earth world I’ve not done any work on it this week. I’m going to get the bounty hunter one done first and then look at that one. The big difference between the two is the second one, is not even bare bones. It’s just the confused beginnings of a story.
Right, I’ve not got much time before I have to think about work. So, I’m gonna wrap this up here and get onto bounty hunter and see if I can get this first draft done.
Have a great weekend, folks!

Hahaha, your notebook cracks me up! It feels GREAT to finish a first draft. I’m cheering you on! I entered a one-week contest in which newsletter recipients (of Rayne Hall’s newsletter) received a theme/assignment, and we have one week to write a story for possible inclusion in her upcoming anthology. Isn’t that a fun idea? I finally figured out the theme and characters. I have one day to draft it, one to rewrite it, and one to edit-n-submit. Oh, NO problem, NO pressure.:-)
