Howdy, folks! How are we all doing this evening?

I’ve written 1129, and edited 750 over about an hour today on the Mech story. I had an appointment this morning and then some errands. This afternoon I’ve gamed online with a buddy.

This week hasn’t been as on it as I was aiming for, which is somewhat the norm for me. I have this habit of getting to about midday and my brain kinda shuts the creative gates. I’ve got a few more days in the next week where I can get stuck in and try to have a day I need to get some progress made.

With the mech story I got stuck in properly today and made some good progress. With this story I’ve got a draft, but its a clear first draft. It is poorly written, has no structure, and lots of half thoughts not played out. It isn’t all bad. I’ve got the skeleton of the story, a really well thought out core of characters and a growing universe its set in. For the longest time a large chunk of the story I hadn’t really thought about. I was just sort of going to leave it blank, but a few months ago I had a really good idea on a large element of the past of this world. The idea popped into my head and this story has not shut up since. So, I’m planning now on getting this pass done by the end of June, and then back into the Penal Earth 2 edits.

Right, I’m gonna wrap this here for the day. I need some sleep, but back at it again tomorrow.
