Howdy folks! How are we all doing today?

I’ve had two, two thousand word days back to back.

Yesterday I wrapped up this draft for the mech story. There’s still a lot of work to do on this one. It’s very raw in some places, and needs building up, whereas other areas it needs excess stripped out of it.

With how the story has evolved as u worked on this draft I’ll need to add a few bits and pieces early on, and I need to put some thought into one of the main characters.

Today I began typing up the Penal Earth short story I wrote over the last couple of months. How I treat typing up a handwritten draft is to approach it as a second draft. So I will change things as I go, strip out parts that don’t make sense and hope once I’ve typed it up I’ll have a relatively tidy second draft.

While I’m typing it up I’ll be adding the details to my notes for when I get my arse back into gear with the bible

Busy seven days coming, so I’m gonna grab words where I can. I’m thinking I’m gonna be working on the Mars story once I’ve typed up the Penal Earth short.
