Howdy folks! How are we all doing today?

The last couple of days I feel I’ve managed to get back on track a little bit. I’ve started work on a short story from the Penal Earth world and after two thousand words the actually story began. I kinda wish I’d had a camera going for the moment when I realised this had happened. It’s much better than what I had already written as the start and fits the protagonist and the other two short stories featuring him better than the original opening.

I’ve got an idea of what this story is going to be but we’ll see what happens.

It feels good to have written 3000 words over the last two days so easily. (Even though 2k will essentially get scrapped). This is a character that I adore writing and I’m looking forward to putting him into the grinder a little and see what he does.

I’d like to have a draft done by the end of the month, so come Monday I can see myself going hard to get a story done before the month ticks to an end.

The details from Penal Earth One have been typed up for the bible. It’s still a bit of a mess. I need to work on organising it better so that when I search for a detail it’s easier to find. But I’m pleased I’ve got that stage done.
