Good evening on this first Sunday of the new year. Also, my first list of the new year which will be a quick little update.

I’ve finished the first drafts of two short stories in the last couple of weeks. I’ve done one edit pass of one and will start on the second tomorrow.

It’s been a bit of a slow start to writing this year, well that’s how it feels. I’ve got a lot going on in life at the moment and writing is getting done as and when I have a few moments. That said, I’ve managed to get words down the last few days and I’d like to think my word count for this year isn’t too bad so far.

I think the trick for the next few months is going to be getting words in when I can.

That’s it for now though. I am going to try and get into some sort of a routine with blogging again but we’ll see how the next few weeks go.
