Good morning, folks. How are we all doing today? I am tired and bleary eyed. I struggled to nod off and I don’t think I slept particularly well once I did. But early shift means early up. So I’m sat here, in my car, gearing up for what I suspect could be a busy shift.

Yesterday though, I wrote 2800 words and change on the mech story in about 2 hours. Then after some work on the garden, a touch of gaming, I wrote about 600 words for a post which should be on here in the next month or so.

I’m not expecting big word counts from today, I think I’d got a little stuck with this Penal Earth spin off story but I’ve got something I want to try before getting into the guts of the ending. But outside of my break I don’t think I’ll have much time to put to writing. I like that I know where I’m going with this spin off now though. It’s going to skip over some of the characters process that could come across as boring.

Even with that low word count expectation I think I’m going to be able to move this story well.
