Howdy folks how are we all doing today? It’s gearing up to be another lovely day here in North Kent. I slept pretty well last night, once I nodded off, and I’m getting into a bit of a morning routine. This week I’ve got shifts that are starting a little later than I normally do but I’ve still tried to get up at about the normal time as it’s good sleep hygiene. I need to also start getting my head down earlier.

Yesterday I wrote about 1100 words, 800 typing up the Penal Earth short story and about 300 on my Mars story, I’ve also got a scene from Lovers building itself in the back of my head which progressed quite noticeably yesterday, and I think I’ll be writing it out in the next few days.

Today I am gonna be focusing on the Mars story. I won’t have much time to write today but what time I do have will be on that. What I wrote for it yesterday felt good. This one is definitely less complicated than Lovers for example.
