I’ve said Good morning in the title of this post but you know what, I’m still half asleep so it doesn’t feel very good!

Joking aside, it is early. I’ve got a load of stuff to do today, mostly non-writing work but I’m going to try and edit a few words at some point, even if it’s just a handful I’m just gonna get something done.

Something that has been playing on my mind for the last couple days is that maybe I’ve gone past my level of ability with some of the stories I’m working on. Like, I look at the complexities of vampire for example and I get frustrated at trying to work it out. Which is why I think I’m being pulled towards writing something that is a lot more simple, direct.

I miss writing from the hip, just letting words flow without thinking to much about where this element is, or how that element will affect it.

So I might try and write a little flash fiction to ease that itch.
