Well, the streak is broken. Yesterday was the first day in a very long time I haven’t written. I had something minor yet annoying crop up and I just didn’t get around to getting the words down.

I don’t feel too bad, this has been the longest I’ve had that consistency for some time. I’ve written about 43000 words in that streak and got the bones of a strong story down. I do need to plot out a major part of this story that will be the big ending. I’m going to start that today during my work break. This is something I can’t just wing. It is an attack from a military force on a city, so I’m going to try and plot it out like I was a tactician (might need some research for this!), and have not only tactical locations but also key points of interest like power and water infrastructure elements. I’ve got some of the details in my head but it deserves to have a plan for this part so it has the impact I want it to.
