Howdy folks, how are we all today?

I feel like I slept well last night, first time in about a week. Yesterday while I was at work, quite early on in my shift as well, the last ten days caught up with me quite hard. I got my head down and cracked on with the shift. When I got home I did a couple of bits and pieces I needed to before having a shower and then crashed out. I slept a little but not great, but the act of trying to sleep, and just laying there half watching a movie I’ve seen a hundred times before helped the soft reset. The rest of yesterday was a little gaming and a movie. I did write 351 words on Mars before work and during my break, but yesterday was a rest day for writing.

I’m currently playing 7 Days To Die on the Xbox and yesterday I got my snow biome badge, and did a lot of looting. Next time I play I need a major resource gathering session. I am building a base from scratch and I need to start getting materials together to do it.

I also finished off watching The Old Guard 2. This was as good as the first one, I like this world and I’m tempted to get a hold of the comics its based on, love seeing Greg Rucka who wrote the comics working on the movie too.

Now, on to today. I am diving into the typing up of my Penal Earth world short story. I’ve got some notes on the Mars story that have been rumbling around my head for the last couple of days that I want to write down, and I need to do some research for that story while I’m at it. That I might do while I’m watching a movie later on though. This morning will be focused on getting this short story typed up. If I finish that before my brain says ‘You’re done’ then I’ll start working my way through Penal Earth 2.
