Howdy folks! How are we all?

I’m pretty good. I’ve got my daughter at the moment so writing is generally on hold. I have scratched out a few words here and there after she’s gone to bed but not a whole lot. I did do about 700 on Lovers last night, and as I was shutting it down for the night I realised I’m over 6400 words on that story. Like, how on earth did that happen? This story is literally just streaks of consciousness as and when they come to me. In no way was I thinking I’d be in a position where I’ve got the spine of a story there. Because this story won’t be linear I’ve let myself loose when a scene strikes me and normally on my phone I smash out a few words at a time. This is now at the point where I need to start thinking about editing it and look at the key points and when they’ll occur. It’s quite exciting.

Outside of that, there’s not much to report on the writing front. I need to start thinking more about the business side of things and start getting my work in front of more readers. I’ve got a few ideas but not sure how to execute them at the moment.
