Howdy folks! How are we doing this morning? I am feeling a touch tired, but almost raring to go for work.

Yesterday I edited about 1000 words and added about 500 on Penal Earth 2. One of the problems with the story as it was is that a couple of characters had no real resolution with their arcs for this books. I think I got excited for the big set piece at the end and forgot about them.

I am in pre-production for book 3 as well. Nothing on digital really, it’s a couple of scenes and some character growth notes. In my head though I’m working out what happens with what characters, how I want different storylines to go. I’ve not got much of anything at it stone but I’m thinking it out. I’m going to try and plan it a little better than I have done other works I’ve done. I don’t think it’ll have as may moving parts as War Child has but I want to get it as tidy as I can.

Today, I’m just gonna crack on as I have been. Last night I was putting in my numbers for the day and realised I hadn’t written for four days. Now the weekend so had my daughter, so writing is rarely done when I have her (normally after she’s gone to sleep if I have time). But Thursday and Friday I have no excuse for. I’ve talked about getting an hour a day done, that’s not hard. It’s just getting my mindset around it. I think I’m getting there, especially considering the creative gears are turning.
