Good Morning! Yes, technically it’s morning as we are now in the early hours of the 5th of January. I’m just popping out a quick post, I’ve just written 1093 word son PE2, which puts this story past 12k.

I was feeling bad because I hadn’t written all day, despite being off form the day job. But I’d overlaid till about 11am, and honestly wanted to just chill out a little. But then I kept putting off, then had a nap, then a few other bits and pieces and before I knew it was nearly 10pm. But then I knocked out a thousand words while watching the fifth Friday The 13th movie.

What I find strange is if I have a lot of time to write I think I’ll faff about, whereas if I don’t have much time, even with watching a movie at the same time, I’m able to smash the words out. Hell, as long as I’m getting the words written what does it matter?
