Good afternoon, folks! How are we all doing today?

I’ve had a decent morning, 1646 words on War Child and I feel I’ve reorientated myself with the story now. I’ve still got a lot of work to do on it, but it’s getting there. I’m working on the final third of the book now and once I’ve got this done I’m very tempted to have a break from it and work on another project for a bit. I feel like I need to take a step back from it before started on the next draft of it. I’ve got a few notes on it I need to think through before I start on the next pass and there’s a lot of smaller details to tweak while also building the larger plot focus of the story in this back and of the series as a whole.

That next project, your guess is as good as mine. the Zombie book is almost ready to go. Penal Earth and Black Blood are both done as much as I can with them and need an outside editor to go over them. Vampire Era is up on my Ko-Fi in the Welcome To My Nightmare membership, and this first season is almost done! One episode to go! That is also needing an outside editor to go over it.

So I’ve got books that are ready to go but need some funds to get editing and cover art done if I’m to self-publish them. Which is the path I’m looking at at the moment.

I’m not in a bad place, just need to get a few elements organised.
