Howdy folks!
How are we all doing today? I met a friend for lunch yesterday. I’d not seen this friend since before covid hit and it was great catching up.
I did do a little writing yesterday, I got 250 words down on a story which, I’ve got no idea where it’s going. I can feel there’s something there, but I haven’t found it yet. It’s weird feeling like I’m just wondering around with this story but I know it’s there somewhere.

It’s nice that you got to meet up with a friend! We are staying with the son-in-law and daughter as we look for a place to live and while the daughter recovers from surgery and we help take care of the newborn grandkid.
We thought we had a place, but I guess they went with another renter. Today we are looking at a 100-year-old house for possible purchase. All sorts of craziness associated with owning an older home, so I don’t know how that’s gonna go!
Last night I did manage to finish a draft of a nonfiction piece for a cemetery anthology, so I am squeezing in a little writing.
