Good evening, folks! How are we all doing?

I was planning on starting at midnight but after such a demanding day at work yesterday I decided to give it a miss, and didn’t start writing until about 10ish this morning. The first 700 words were like pulling teeth! At that point I was thinking I’ll get to the 1667 words and then give it up for the day. The next 500 words flowed really well though and in that 500 I found some flow and before I new it I was passing the 2000 words mark and deciding to push onto 2500, but I passed that and was at 2700 words and decided to double the 1667 for the day. At about 2900 words though I began to wane and I thought I’ll not push that bit further. My back was killing me and it had been very uncomfortable for about an hour at that point. I wanted to finish the scene, but it ended up taking a few more words than I’d anticipated, and before I knew it I was at 3334 words.

That did wipe me out a little, but I]m glad I got ahead a little and when I go into it tomorrow it’s nice knowing I’m ahead and I know what the next scene is.
