Hoody folks, I wrote 764 words on two different projects this morning. I’ve realised I’m struggling with Mermaid and where to go now that I’m past where the short story ended. So a little break from it for a day or two.

The two pieces I worked on today, one was just a fragment of something and nothing. I’m not sure what it is or where it’s going but I might just play with it. Or I’ll never touch it again. We’ll see. The other one was the start of the lovers rewrite. This one has been brewing for a while and I’m looking forward to seeing how it comes out.

Im going to try and get back into some focused work this week and not just ploughing through. I’ve got a few bits and pieces I want to get back on track with and I think this week is going to be the time to do it.
